We believe that having the right community can spur people to do amazing things.
OUR BEGINNING, AS TOLD BY OUR FOUNDERS:
"I’ve always loved to discover new things. When I was in college, I used to constantly visit Stumbleupon because it showed me things that I would’ve never found on my own. Fast forward a few years later and my obsession with finding new things is still the same! I’ve had some friends who have started their own businesses and have created products of their own. Their updates occasionally pop up on my social media feeds, but often get drowned by life updates from my other friends and family. Don’t get me wrong -- we love to see “oh-my-god-we’re-having-a-baby” or “we’re-getting-married” posts. We just thought it would be really awesome to have one place where we can keep track and support our friends’ businesses! That way, no milestone or update goes unnoticed and you can find new projects to support in the process!”
“I was looking for something where I can follow and support my entrepreneur friends and connect with other founders exclusively. I thought it would be fun to have a digital hub where I can share my journey and read about others’ as well-- like, comment, share, the usual social media stuff. I like seeing progress and it’s motivating for me to see people putting in work and succeeding and also learning from others’ experiences so we decided to build a social network where entrepreneurs can digitally hang out. It’s more real and personal when you see people you know riding the so-called 'entrepreneur roller coaster' rather than reading about a distant entrepreneur on some newsfeed. We built Seedspace on the assumption that other entrepreneurs would also want an engaged and inspiring founders community.”
We are building a community of driven founders who are out to make a lasting impact locally or globally! But we don't want to stop here. Our ultimate goal is to build an all-in-one platform where entrepreneurs can find great partnerships, funding options, and events to market their products or services. But first...
